What each item is for
Low-adherent dressings, 5 × 5 cm: Cover a small wound with a protective pad that is less likely to stick.
Conforming bandages, 5 cm: Hold dressings in place and conform to the area being wrapped.
Plain cohesive bandage, 5 cm: Provide an outer wrap that sticks to itself. Apply without restricting circulation.
Roll of paper medical tape: Secure dressing edges and the ends of wraps.
Sealed sterile saline irrigation ampoules, 10 mL each: Rinse a small area with a fresh single-use supply. Discard opened ampoules.
Pairs of disposable nitrile gloves: Help keep hands and supplies clean when handling an injured bird.
Non-sterile gauze is for general handling; use the sealed sterile dressings where a sterile pad is needed. Betadine use on poultry must be directed by your veterinarian.
Before you use it
These supplies support basic care and preparation. A sick or injured bird may need prompt veterinary assessment. Follow the product labels and your veterinarian’s advice; do not force-feed or syringe liquids unless trained and instructed.
